qConnect 2025: Calgary Aims to Become Quantum Hub

qConnect 2025, a two-day conference in Calgary, Alberta, aims to position the city as a hub for quantum research and development. The event, themed 'Building an Integrated Quantum World', will bring together key players from the quantum industry, including entrepreneurs, corporate executives, academics, government officials, and investors.

The conference, set to take place at the Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel, offers a special rate of $259 per night until early October for attendees. Air Canada, the official airline partner, provides a discount code for travel to the event.

qConnect 2025 will cover the entire quantum value chain, from commercial applications and research breakthroughs to start-up pitches. The Solutions Showcase will serve as a platform for innovators to demonstrate their products to investors and industry leaders. The conference's central theme emphasizes the importance of hardware, software, standards, and policy evolving together to accelerate practical adoption of quantum solutions.

The University of Calgary, a sponsor of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, supports the conference. Other main sponsors include corporate entities involved in quantum technology industries. These sponsors enable the conference to facilitate networking and partnerships in quantum hardware, software, standards, and policy development.

qConnect 2025 exemplifies the growing momentum behind quantum technology and its potential to reshape industries, governments, and economies worldwide. By bringing together diverse stakeholders, the conference seeks to accelerate quantum technology adoption and showcase innovations in Calgary.
