Qualys Expands ServiceNow Integration for Enhanced Security & Compliance
Qualys, a leading provider of cloud-based security and compliance solutions, is set to expand its integration with ServiceNow by the end of 2022. This expansion will cover File Integrity Management, Policy Compliance, Cloud Security, and Patch Management. The companies, with a multi-year partnership, have been collaborating to enhance IT and cybersecurity capabilities.
ServiceNow has already integrated Qualys' Security Operations Vulnerability Remediation tool with Qualys' Vulnerability Management, Detection & Response, and Container Security. To further bolster real-time security, Qualys is introducing the Vulnerability Push Mechanism. This feature ensures critical vulnerabilities identified on business-critical assets are synced in real-time.
Qualys has also rolled out VMDR for ITSM 2.0, which includes advanced features like Vulnerability Grouping, Exception Filing, and False Positive request submissions. This update allows customers to orchestrate vulnerabilities in ServiceNow without needing ServiceNow's Security Operations Vulnerability Remediation. Additionally, Qualys has built two versions of CMDB Sync for syncing ServiceNow's CMDB information from Qualys CyberSecurity Asset Management.
The expanded integration between Qualys and ServiceNow is expected to enhance security and compliance operations. ServiceNow's Compliance module already benefits from Qualys Policy Compliance integration. With the upcoming additions, businesses can anticipate improved management of vulnerabilities and assets across their IT environments.
