The launch of the "My Mario" series is part of Nintendo's ongoing efforts to diversify its business and cater to a wider audience. This includes the creation of claymation shows, extra clothes, backpacks, and other kid-friendly items.
While the original Nintendo Switch may not be the first choice for older players due to its size, it is a perfect fit for younger children. Nintendo has also taken measures to ensure that users cannot have game save data in more than one place at once, and one instance of a game on the original Switch cannot be shared with the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.
