Revolutionary Antigravity Company Debut 360-Degree Video Drone Camera, a First in Globe

The Antigravity A1 is the world's first consumer aerial drone with inbuilt 360-degree video capture. It weighs a mere 249g and features rotor arms that fold up for storage or travel.
The drone's control system is inspired by virtual reality headsets, separating flight direction from viewing direction. Pilots wear immersive Vision goggles with head-tracking and use a Grip controller with intuitive hand gestures to fly the drone. This setup, called FreeMotion technology, allows users to look around freely in any direction while flying the drone independently in another direction.
The Vision goggles provide a live 360-degree view from dual cameras mounted on the top and bottom of the drone, creating an “invisible drone effect” where the drone itself is visually erased through advanced stitching algorithms. The Grip controller replaces traditional joystick inputs with gesture-based commands to direct the drone swiftly and intuitively.
This setup enhances the experience of flying and footage viewing by giving pilots the freedom to look around naturally, as if in virtual reality, while controlling the drone's path separately. It also allows for capturing everything in 8K 360 degrees without needing to aim or frame shots mid-flight. Recorded footage can be viewed and reframed later from any angle thanks to the all-around 360 capture.
The Antigravity A1 is designed to be intuitive for both beginners and experts. It is scheduled for release in January 2026. The drone also features payload detection to prevent misuse.
Meanwhile, Insta360 has launched the GO 3S, a 4K action camera featuring Apple's Find My service. The DJI Osmo 360, another forthcoming drone, is capable of recording content in 8K resolution.
