Rolls-Royce Unveils Phantom Platinum Jubilee Edition for Centenary Celebration

Rolls-Royce is set to release a special edition Phantom, the Phantom Platinum Jubilee Edition, to celebrate the nameplate's centenary. This limited run of 25 cars features an intricate interior designed by Chief Designer Anders Warming, showcasing Rolls-Royce's unparalleled craftsmanship.

The special edition Phantom is based on the current eighth-generation model and powered by its twin-turbocharged V12 engine. The interior introduces several technical firsts for Rolls-Royce, including 3D marquetry, 3D ink layering, and 24-carat gold leafing. These innovative techniques push materials to their limits, transforming each panel into a tactile sculpture, as described by Rolls-Royce's bespoke boss Phil Fabre de la Grange. The design is the result of a one-year development process and required special staff training. Warming, who led the design team from 2016 to 2022, is known for his work on numerous iconic Rolls-Royce models and editions.

The Phantom Platinum Jubilee Edition is a testament to Rolls-Royce's commitment to craftsmanship and customization, particularly in special and commemorative editions. Jonny Lieberman, a journalist and Rolls-Royce enthusiast, confirmed that such exclusive design decisions are made under Warming's creative leadership.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom Platinum Jubilee Edition, with its unique interior designed by Anders Warming, is set to be a standout model in the brand's centenary celebrations. This special edition pushes the boundaries of materials and craftsmanship, further cementing Rolls-Royce's reputation for luxury and exclusivity.
