Santander introduces flexible aid, a service enabling clients to utilize support at their own discretion
Santander Brasil has entered the 24-hour assistance business with the launch of its new platform, helpS, on May 16, 2022. The bank's strategy with helpS is to broaden its customer solutions portfolio, offering everyday emergency solutions that complement those included in insurance policies.
The innovative assistance model allows Santander account holders to use the benefits of helpS not just for their own property, but for someone else's as well. This flexibility sets helpS apart in Brazil. Examples of someone else's property include a rented summer home, a relative's dog, a rideshare driver's car, and a friend's or relative's home.
helpS offers eight new products for auto, home, bikes, and pets. These products range from convenience services such as bike checkups and pet rides to the vet, to a section for purchasing cat and dog food, medicine, and accessories. A rewards club is also available for pet-owning customers, allowing purchases from affiliated retailers.
Each subscription to helpS allows for the service to be used three times in 12 months, once every 30 days. Subscription packages include auto-renewal and direct debit payment for added convenience.
Marcelo Cavalcante, Head of helpS, emphasizes easy access to services previously exclusive to insurance policies. He explains that services can be provided to anyone chosen by the account holder, not just the account holder themselves.
If you're a Santander account holder and want to learn more about helpS, more information can be found at www.our website.br/helps. For the latest updates, I recommend checking Santander Brasil's official website or press releases directly or contacting their customer service.
Annual subscriptions for helpS start at BRL 19.90 a month on Santander's app. With helpS, Santander Brasil continues to prioritize digital innovation and customer service improvements, making everyday emergencies a little less stressful for its customers.
