Saudi Arabia Launches Groundbreaking Data Science & AI Diploma
A groundbreaking Diploma in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been launched in Saudi Arabia. This collaboration between DataVolt, Energy & Water Academy (EWA), and Innovatics is approved by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) and College of Excellence (CoE), and endorsed by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT).
The Diploma aims to future-proof Saudi Arabia's talent for the digital age, aligning with Vision 2030 and the National Strategy for Data & AI (NSDAI). It integrates classroom learning with applied projects, addressing live business problems and creating job-ready graduates.
DataVolt, a key player in this initiative, is investing heavily in Saudi Arabia's data center facilities. It has committed a USD 5 billion investment in the first phase of a planned 1.5 GW AI factory campus in Oxagon, NEOM. The company will also sponsor five students from the inaugural cohort, guaranteeing their employment upon graduation.
The AI market is expected to contribute US$320 billion to the Middle East economy by 2030, with Saudi Arabia set to benefit the most. This Diploma program, with its focus on data science and AI, is poised to equip Saudi talents to seize these opportunities and drive the country's digital transformation.
