Trend Micro, a global leader in cybersecurity solutions, has announced the availability of its Vision One Platform for Australian Government agencies with PROTECTED level requirements. The platform is designed to support a comprehensive end-to-end cybersecurity strategy, especially for those adopting a 'cloud-first strategy' and embracing AI capabilities.

Martyn Beal, Trend Micro's Federal Government Strategic Lead, expressed his excitement about the Vision One Platform, stating that it will help take customers on their cloud journey. He added that the platform's robust attack surface risk management, proactive defence capabilities, and cross-layer protection across hybrid environments make it an ideal solution for the public sector and critical infrastructure providers.

The Vision One Platform offers several key features. It facilitates faster incident response, enabling earlier detection of cyber incidents. The platform is amplified by powerful generative AI technology, providing global threat intelligence to keep users informed about the latest cyber threats. The platform also includes next-generation XDR technology, Expert Managed Services, and critical senior intel such as the Cybersecurity Risk score, offering real-time awareness of the environment's risk and security posture.

The Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC), an independent body, conducted the IRAP assessment of the Trend Micro Vision One Platform at the PROTECTED level. This assessment is the latest in a series of global assessments, including the US Government FEDRAMP, SOCI2, and NIST. Trend Micro Incorporated has also completed the Information Security Manual PROTECTED level for the Trend Micro Vision One Platform.
