Skytree Unveils Stratus Alpha: A Game-Changer in Direct Air Capture

Skytree, a trailblazer in direct air capture (DAC) technology, has unveiled its Stratus Alpha unit, designed for large-scale projects such as industrial greenhouses and e-fuel production. This innovative system promises year-round stability and high CO2 capture rates.

Skytree's Stratus Alpha unit can capture up to one tonne of CO2 per day, significantly more than other units like the Cumulus, which can capture up to 30kg/day. This high capture rate, coupled with the system's stability throughout the year, ensures a consistent return on investment (ROI) without the seasonal swings common in traditional DAC assets.

Skytree's technology has proven successful in producing liquid carbon dioxide that meets beverage-grade standards. The captured CO2 is liquefied at purity levels of 99.98%, ensuring high-quality output. Unlike some other DAC systems, Skytree's process avoids common CO2 losses during the capture-to-liquefaction process.

Skytree's Stratus Alpha unit is a significant advancement in DAC technology, offering high CO2 capture rates and year-round stability. Its ability to produce liquid CO2 that meets beverage-grade standards demonstrates the system's potential for various applications. As Skytree continues to innovate, its technology could play a crucial role in reducing global CO2 emissions.
