Square Enix's leadership has signalled a shift away from PlayStation exclusives, aiming to release future Final Fantasy titles on multiple platforms, including Xbox [2]. This move suggests that players can expect future mainline and Remake titles to launch on both Xbox and PlayStation.

Currently, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is available on PlayStation 5. The development team is working diligently to ensure the final game delivers a fitting finale. Director of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Naoki Hamaguchi, has expressed a desire to bring the series to as many players as possible, including Xbox gamers [1].

The PC system requirements for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth have been published, and the game is expected to release on Windows PC on January 23, 2025 [1]. Additionally, the upcoming PC release can be found on CDKeys (Steam).
