Stepping Away Made Simple: Introducing the Latest Functionality for Easy Time Off

Hubstaff Introduces Time Off & Holidays Feature for Streamlined PTO Management

Hubstaff, a popular productivity and time-tracking tool, has announced the launch of its new Time Off & Holidays feature. This innovative addition aims to simplify the process of managing time off requests, making it easier for businesses of all sizes to handle paid time off (PTO) efficiently.

With the Time Off & Holidays feature, employees can submit time off requests directly through the app. Managers can approve or reject these requests with just a few clicks, ensuring a swift and straightforward process for both parties. The platform supports detailed PTO policies, including different vacation, sick leave, and custom categories, which can be assigned by team and configured with accrual rules.

One of the key benefits of this feature is its centralized system. By providing a single platform where all PTO requests and approvals are tracked and managed, it reduces confusion and duplicate requests, leading to a more organized work environment. Managers also benefit from automated timesheet integrations that include PTO and holidays, enabling better oversight before payroll processing.

Hubstaff's timesheet approvals allow payroll delays for additional review, ensuring accuracy in employee compensation related to time off. The system is designed to be simple and easy to use, aligning with Hubstaff's goal to save users time so they can focus on important work.

In addition to PTO management, the Time Off & Holidays feature allows users to add holidays to their organization. Team members can submit time off requests by adding dates, the requested time frame, total hours of time off, and a reason for the request. When a team member submits a time off request, an email notification is automatically sent for review and approval or denial. If a request is denied, the email will include a message explaining why.

The feature also includes reporting tools to track time off across teams, making it easier for businesses to understand their team's time off patterns and plan accordingly. Team schedules can be viewed to see who's working, who's away, and to identify any necessary schedule changes, particularly around holidays or busy seasons.

Hubstaff users can try the new feature for free and subscribe to receive feature updates via email. The Time Off & Holidays feature is yet another step in Hubstaff's mission to help businesses save time and focus on what matters most.
