The Specifications for Running Battlefield 6 on PC, Released Ahead of Open Beta, Unveiled - Find Out What Your System Needs to Handle the Thrilling First-Person Shooter

Get ready for the return of one of gaming's most iconic franchises! Battlefield 6, the highly anticipated sequel, is set to release on October 10. The game will be available on various platforms, including Steam, EA App, Epic Games Store, Xbox, and PS5.

The developers have revealed the system requirements for Battlefield 6 on PC, ensuring players can prepare their systems for the large-scale multiplayer battles ahead.

Minimum Requirements

To run Battlefield 6 at 1080p resolution with a frame rate of 30 FPS, you'll need a system with the following specifications:

  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600
  • RAM: 16GB (dual-channel, 2133 MHz)
  • GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060, AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT, or Intel Arc A380 with 6GB VRAM
  • Storage: Approximately 75GB on HDD
  • DirectX 12
  • TPM 2.0 enabled, UEFI Secure Boot enabled, HVCI capable, VBS capable
  • Online connection required

For a smoother gaming experience, particularly at 1440p resolution with a frame rate of 60 FPS or 1080p with a frame rate of 80+ FPS, we recommend the following specifications:

  • Operating System: Windows 11 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-10700 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
  • RAM: 16GB (dual-channel, 3200 MHz)
  • GPU: Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti, AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT, or Intel Arc B580 with 8GB VRAM
  • Storage: Approximately 75GB on SSD
  • DirectX 12
  • TPM 2.0 enabled, UEFI Secure Boot enabled, HVCI capable, VBS capable
  • Online connection required

It's worth noting that an SSD is recommended for faster loading speeds, and the game requires a modern PC setup capable of handling such demanding multiplayer battles.

Battlefield 6 also features EA's kernel-level "Javelin" anti-cheat system from day one, and it demands UEFI Secure Boot and HVCI for its operation.

Preordering Battlefield 6 grants you exclusive cosmetics. The game is available to preorder, with its Standard Edition costing $70.

Epic Games Store players will need to launch the game through the EA App, while those who purchase it on Steam do not require this step.

The game will also boast features such as Super Resolution upscaling and AI Frame Generation. Battlefield 6's multiplayer reveal was terrific, and players can look forward to the return of Battlefield's iconic classes and dynamic in-depth destruction systems.

Mark your calendars for the Battlefield 6 Open Beta, scheduled for August 9-10, August 14-17, with Early Access running from August 7-8.
