Tokenize Xchange Secures $11.5M for Southeast Asia Expansion

Cryptocurrency exchange platform Tokenize Xchange has secured $11.5 million in its latest fundraising round, led by TRIVE Ventures. The Singapore-based company plans to use the funds to expand its team and operations in the region.

Founded in 2017 by Christoph Jentzsch, Tokenize Xchange offers an institutional-grade platform serving both individual and institutional investors across Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam. The company has applied for a Digital Payment Token License in Singapore and received a digital asset exchange license from Malaysian authorities in 2020.

With over 200,000 clients and a platform available on Android and iPhone devices (over 50,000 downloads on the Play Store), Tokenize Xchange aims to grow its user base and enhance its services. The fresh capital will be used to expand its team in Singapore over the next 18 months, with a focus on compliance operations. This round brings the company's total Series A funding to $23 million.

Tokenize Xchange's latest fundraising round, led by TRIVE Ventures, will support the company's expansion plans. With a strong user base and regulatory compliance, the company is well-positioned to grow in the Southeast Asian market.
