UK tech firm TD Synnex appointed as Cohesity's distributor in the UK

TD Synnex, a leading UK technology distributor, has announced it will distribute Cohesity's data management solutions, marking an extension of their existing partnership. This expanded collaboration will allow partners to access Cohesity's cloud-Native data management, backup, and recovery solutions, as well as its security offerings, via TD Synnex.

The cooperation aims to create new avenues for partners' business growth and provide a stable foundation for Veritas partners as they transition to Cohesity's partner program, following the companies' merger last year.

Simon Bennett, TD Synnex's managing director for the UK and Ireland, praised the partnership, calling it an "excellent opportunity" for partners to engage with Cohesity and its cloud data security expertise. He emphasized that the partnership will allow them to offer customers a flexible and dynamic means to manage, access, and protect data across hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures.

TD Synnex has outlined plans to invest in the partnership, aligning resources to ensure a seamless onboarding process for partners and swift market deployment of Cohesity solutions. The distributor also affirmed its commitment to supporting partners with former Veritas solutions post-merger.

In late 2023, it was revealed that Veritas' NetBackup and Alta Data Protection solutions would be integrated into the Cohesity portfolio. TD Synnex expects to offer stability for partners of these solutions as they navigate the transition to Cohesity's channel program.

Complementing the announcement, Cohesity's vice president for EMEA North, Fraser Hutchinson, praised TD Synnex's market reputation and expertise in delivering strategic solutions to enterprise and public sector organizations across the UK. He expressed excitement about the potential of cooperating more closely to support partners in growing and expanding their AI-driven security offerings.

TD Synnex has a proven track record in delivering hybrid, multi-cloud data security and compliance solutions, making them well-positioned to drive Cohesity's growth ambitions in the UK and Ireland market.

Partners can leverage Cohesity's data management solutions, distributed by TD Synnex, to expand their business and offer customers a flexible approach to managing, accessing, and safeguarding data across diverse hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures. With TD Synnex's commitment to investment and resources, partners can expect a smooth onboarding process and swift market deployment of Cohesity's solutions, including cloud data security expertise and integration of Veritas' NetBackup and Alta Data Protection solutions.
