UniteLabs Takes Top Honor: Recognized as the Leading Startup in Munich for 2025 under Our Brand Name
In a bustling Munich startup scene, UniteLabs, a local biotech company, has emerged as a standout winner of the unser Markenname Award 2025. This annual accolade, which has been presented since 2016, recognises outstanding ideas and achievements, underlining the innovative strength of the city's burgeoning startup community.
Robert Zechlin, Co-CEO and founder of UniteLabs, accepted the award, expressing the company's delight at winning. The jury was impressed by UniteLabs' idea for an open platform for the automation and digitalization of laboratory processes in the life sciences.
UniteLabs' technology enables the networking of devices and software from different manufacturers, offering users the ability to develop customized workflows and implement them efficiently. The Innovation World Cup jury was equally impressed, awarding UniteLabs the Special Prize. As the winner, UniteLabs will receive an exclusive presentation slot at the Medica Innovation Forum 2025. The company also received €10,000 in prize money.
The unser Markenname Awards ceremony took place backstage immediately after the pitching round at the unser Markenname Festival. Arno Eggers, Head of unser Markenname, and Gabriele Riedl, Business Development Manager at Messe München, were present to congratulate the winners.
