Uber One membership, priced at $9.99 per month or $96 per year, is one such offering. This membership saves 10% on delivery and pick-up orders that meet a minimum spending requirement, and provides additional perks such as $0 delivery fee on food, grocery, and other orders that meet a minimum spending requirement, discounts on rides during surge periods, and 6% back in Uber Cash on Uber rides.
Moreover, Uber One membership offers members-only offers and promos, and earns 10% Uber One credits when renting a car through Uber. The annual credits for Uber One membership can be used for paying for a monthly or annual auto-renewing Uber One membership.
For Amex Platinum cardholders, the benefits are even more enticing. They receive up to $120 in statement credits for Uber One membership, and $15 in Uber Cash each month, plus $35 in December, totaling $200 Uber Cash annually. These credits can be used for Uber rides and Uber Eats purchases.
The Amex Platinum card, a travel rewards card, is one of the best and most sought-after cards in its category. In addition to the Uber benefits, it offers a variety of travel and lifestyle benefits.
Uber Cash, which is automatically deposited into the cardholder's Uber account on the first of each month, can be used for U.S. Uber Eats orders and Uber rides, including UberX, Uber Pool, and Uber Black. Uber Cash can also be gifted to someone else by placing an order through your account for them (ride or Uber Eats).
Uber has also expanded its services to include a grocery delivery service, currently available in Dallas, Miami, New York, select Canadian and Latin American cities, with plans to expand to more cities.
