In a recent Reddit post, a Tesla Model Y owner shared the results of an overnight camping experiment conducted in the 2025 Model Y Juniper, equipped with Tesla's Camp Mode. The experiment, which involved two kids sleeping in the back of the vehicle, aimed to test the vehicle's ability to maintain low CO2 levels and a stable temperature during an extended period.

The lowest CO2 level recorded during the experiment was 447 ppm, remarkably close to ambient atmospheric conditions. This finding suggests that Tesla's air management system in Camp Mode allows for fresh air circulation, ensuring a breathable atmosphere for occupants.

The cabin temperature was set at 71°F for the entire night and remained steady until after sunrise. However, an early temperature spike was observed around sunrise, likely due to solar gain through the panoramic glass.
