Upcoming Realme C51: 5 Key Highlights Ahead of Its Unveiling
The Chinese smartphone brand Realme has announced the launch date of its new budget-friendly device, the C51. Scheduled to debut in India on September 4, the Realme C51 has been teased with a slew of details ahead of its official unveiling.
Design
The Realme C51 will follow a similar design aesthetics as its predecessor, the C53, which was launched in India in July. It will come in two color options – Mint Green and Carbon Black. The device sports a dual-toned finish on the back, featuring a glossy upper back and a solid matte texture. The cameras and flashlight are located in the glossy upper back, with the edges seemingly flat. The power button and volume rockers are expected to be situated on the right panel of the smartphone.
Display
While the specifications for the Indian variant of the Realme C51 are yet to be confirmed, the global variant of the device boasts a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display with up to 90Hz refresh rate support. It offers a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and features a mini capsule for checking data usage, step count, charging status, and notifications.
Performance
The global variant of the Realme C51 is powered by the Unisoc T612 processor, coupled with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It boasts a 5000mAh battery with up to 33-watt fast charging support, with Realme India confirming the inclusion of 33-watt SUPERVOOC fast charging in the Realme C51.
Camera
With a dual camera setup, the Realme C51 is expected to sport a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 0.3-megapixel depth sensor on the rear. The front camera is touted to be a 5-megapixel sensor with a screen flash. The rear camera is expected to feature an LED flash, HDR, and PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus).
Price and Availability
While the price of the Realme C51 in India is yet to be announced, it is expected to launch at a lower price than its predecessor, the Realme C53, which was launched in India at a starting price of ₹9,999. The Realme C51 will be available on Flipkart and Realme's online store following its launch on September 4.
