Upgraded Tesla Superchargers V4: Boosted Speeds and Strength, Anticipated in 2025

Tesla is set to revolutionize its Supercharger network with the introduction of the V4 Cabinet, scheduled for implementation in 2025. This upgrade aims to significantly speed up charge times for all Tesla vehicles.

The first V4 Cabinet sites are expected to open their doors to drivers in 2025, though specific locations have yet to be announced. Tesla plans to begin installing these new V4 'kitchen cabinets' across Europe, starting in 2025. Each V4 Cabinet will boast eight charging posts, doubling the number of cars it can charge simultaneously.

For Tesla's Cybertruck owners, the V4 Cabinet promises a 30% faster charge compared to previous Supercharger versions. This enhancement allows for a more efficient and speedy charging experience.

The V4 Cabinet is designed to deliver faster and more powerful charging than its predecessors. For Tesla's S3XY lineup (Model S, 3, X, and Y), the V4 Cabinet will maintain their fast 250kW charging rate, enabling up to 200 miles of range in just 15 minutes.

In a leap forward for electric truck technology, the V4 Cabinet can deliver an impressive 1.2MW of power for Tesla Semi trucks. This upgrade promises to significantly reduce charging times for these heavy-duty vehicles.

The efficiency of the V4 Cabinet also reduces the size of the Supercharger station, making it easier to install in more locations. Tesla is currently seeking permits for the first V4 Cabinet sites, marking another step in the evolution of Tesla's Supercharger network.

With the V4 Cabinet, Tesla continues to push the boundaries of electric vehicle charging technology, offering drivers a faster, more efficient, and more powerful charging experience.
