Utthunga and Guidant Establish Center for Exceptional Manufacturing to Produce High-grade, Precision-engineered Systems for Export
In a significant move towards industrial advancement, Utthunga, a leading provider of end-to-end engineering R&D services and industrial solutions, and Guidant Measurement, a US-based provider of precision-engineered flow measurement, automation, and terminal management systems, have partnered to establish a Centre of Manufacturing Excellence (CoME) in India.
Located in the Harohalli Industrial Area of Karnataka, the new CoME is a foundational step in Utthunga's broader strategic commitment to scale its export business. The centre, built to meet global standards for quality, traceability, and operational efficiency, will focus on the assembly and delivery of electronics, terminal automation, and process control systems, aiming to serve global clients with high-quality products.
Praveen Naik, SVP and BU Head - Americas at Utthunga, highlighted that the centre will play a key role in meeting customer demands for faster lead times, reduced risk, and uncompromising quality. Utthunga's multidisciplinary engineering team, consisting of over 1200 members, offers a full spectrum of capabilities from design and development to sensor-to-cloud solutions. The centre's capabilities span turnkey manufacturing of precision electronics products and integrated packaged solutions for use in process industries.
