Vianode Qualifies Anode Graphite for EVs with Leading OEM

Vianode, a Norwegian battery materials company, has secured a significant milestone. The company has achieved product qualification with a leading OEM for its anode graphite used in electric vehicle (EV) batteries. This success comes from Vianode's Via ONE plant in Norway, confirming its industrial-scale production capabilities.

The qualification means Vianode's materials meet stringent chemical anode material requirements. These include high first cycle efficiency, fast charge capability, and impressive capacity. The specific OEM that Vianode has qualified with remains undisclosed.

This achievement paves the way for Vianode to scale up production at its Via TWO plant. Full approval for commercial delivery from Via ONE is a crucial step towards this expansion.

Vianode's product qualification with a leading OEM demonstrates its readiness for large-scale production. The company's anode graphite, meeting demanding performance criteria, is now poised for commercial delivery. This success brings Vianode closer to its goal of supporting the growing EV market with high-quality battery materials.
