VinFast & Castrol Team Up to Boost EV After-Sales Care in India

VinFast Auto India has joined forces with Castrol India to bolster its after-sales network for electric vehicles (EVs) in India. The collaboration will see Castrol's extensive workshop network, numbering over 750 across more than 300 cities, offer comprehensive and reliable service solutions for VinFast EVs. This partnership aims to raise service standards through advanced diagnostics, original spare parts, and digital support solutions.

VinFast, a pure-play EV manufacturer, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Castrol India Limited. The agreement will make selected Castrol Auto Service (CAS) workshops available to VinFast customers, featuring dedicated VinFast-branded service bays, certified EV technicians, and genuine VinFast parts. VinFast will provide service manuals, diagnostic tools, training, and warranty coverage processes, while Castrol will ensure workshops meet infrastructure and capability standards.

Mr. Rajeev Govil, Senior Vice President, India B2B, Castrol India, expressed excitement about supporting VinFast and its EV customers through this collaboration. He noted that Castrol's extensive footprint will enable VinFast to offer broad and convenient after-sales care, further strengthening customer confidence in VinFast's products and services.

VinFast, which launched its first overseas assembly facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, with an initial capacity of 50,000 vehicles annually, sees this partnership as a key step in its mission to make EVs accessible to everyone. Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, stated that India represents a long-term commitment to building an inclusive EV ecosystem with reliable after-sales care. Through this collaboration, VinFast and Castrol aim to raise service standards and support India's transition to sustainable mobility.
