Volkswagen & AirConsole Bring Gaming to Your Car in 2025
Volkswagen and AirConsole have teamed up to bring gaming to your car. The new in-car gaming platform, available in many European countries from 2025, transforms Volkswagen vehicles into an epic gaming station. The app, controlled via a connected smartphone, offers an immersive experience with ambient lighting that syncs with the game.
AirConsole, known for its casual games suitable for all ages, has tailored its offerings for Volkswagen. The game's visuals now feature Volkswagen-specific symbols like the Beetle, Kombi, and Golf silhouettes. Power pellets are represented by the Volkswagen brand logo. The platform's first game, Pac-Man Championship Edition, is available for parked vehicles.
The collaboration, which also involves Porsche, aims to create a new social experience connecting generations. Volkswagen's AirConsole app can be downloaded from the In-Car Shop, though it's not available in New Zealand due to connectivity issues in local models.
