WFL's New M70 MILLTURN Wows EMO Hannover 2025 with Enhanced Productivity and Precision
The world premiere of the new M70 MILLTURN at EMO Hannover 2025 drew considerable attention, with visitors intrigued by its capabilities. Developed by WFL Millturn Technologies, this multifunctional machine promises enhanced productivity and precision.
The M70 MILLTURN is designed for round-the-clock operation, with the option to integrate robots, gantry loaders, or complete manufacturing cells for automated production. Its main spindle delivers a robust 5,860 Newton metres of torque and reaches speeds up to 2,500rpm, ensuring high rigidity for machining challenging materials.
The machine handles large and heavy workpieces with ease, boasting a maximum centre distance of 8,000mm, a swing diameter of 850mm, and a maximum workpiece weight of 5.5 tons. Its milling unit offers up to 58 kilowatts, reaching 8,000rpm, and features an interpolatable B-axis for long and heavy boring bars. Achieving high precision, the M70 MILLTURN utilises high-resolution direct measuring systems and intelligent measuring technologies.
